Wire comes in 30, 24, 20, or 16 gauge for fabricating your own probes or extension cables (meets ANSI and ASTM standards). choose from wire with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC/PVC), fluorinated ethylene Propylene resin (FEP/FEP), fiberglass (G/G), high-temperature fiberglass (Hg/Hg), or ceramic fiber (CF/CF) outer/inner insulation. PVC/PVC wire is extension-grade wire. Use Spade lugs, mini connectors, or standard connectors to assemble complete probes or extension cables. Order Spade lugs, connectors, and accessories separately. Note: use 30-, 24- and 20-gauge wire with mini connectors or standard connectors; use 16-gauge wire with standard connectors only. G = fiberglass; Hg = high-temperature fiberglass; CF = ceramic fiber make your own thermocouple probes or extension cables high-temperature insulation for use up to 2600°f (1427°c).
